As with the standard 12cm format of CDR, we have a smaller version that operates in the same fashion. 8CM CDR (3 inch) offers all the same features as it’s bigger brother but gives the user a smaller capacity to save on wastage and ease of listening. The capacity is 210mb which is much smaller then the larger size CDR, and can be played and recorded in any machine. The disc has to be placed in the centre of the recording machines tray, of which all the modern decks have an indentation for the disk to sit correctly.
